Well, my CCD class can see me as a Catholic because I attend class with them. I think that it’s important because I will be studying for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

I was born Catholic, and being an eith grader there is nothing I could possibly do to change that. This is not a bad thing because I don’t want to change faiths. I embrace the Catholic religion. I enjoy community service and do it all the time, not just when someone says I have to. Counting it towards mandatory service hours is an added benefit. I weara cross not just because it looks cool or everyone else is doing it, but because it is part of my faith.

We call ourselves catholic because we go to church and we believe in God and Jesus. Others recognize me as a follower of Christ and a catholic because they see me at mass. People from all over the world see that I am a catholic when I go to Portugal on vacation and we visit Fatima. It is important that they recognize me as a catholic because then it shows I am one of Jesus’ disciples.

I believe that being catholic is more than just another “group” you belong to, its a way of living. To live catholic people should not only go to church but always think how you can help others.

Very good, Robert! St James reminds us of this when he says faith with out works is dead. In other words we have to show by our behaviors what we believe.

in my mind being catholic is a combination of things it is respecting human dignity and helping people by being the best you can be so that when you help others it has a greater impact on the people you help.
